Frequently Asked Questions
Will rotating affect image quality?
For 90°, 180°, and 270° rotations, there is no quality loss because these are simple pixel rearrangements. The image data remains intact. Only arbitrary angle rotations (which we don't support) would potentially affect quality.
What's the difference between rotate and flip?
Rotating turns the image around its center point, changing its orientation. Flipping creates a mirror image - horizontal flip mirrors left to right, while vertical flip mirrors top to bottom.
Can I combine rotation and flipping?
Yes! You can apply multiple transformations to your image. For example, you might rotate an image 90° and then flip it horizontally. The preview shows you exactly what the result will look like before you download.
Why are my phone photos sideways?
Modern phones use EXIF orientation data to display photos correctly. Some applications ignore this data, showing photos in their raw orientation. Our tool lets you permanently fix the orientation by rotating the actual pixels.
